Reality of Get paid for writing

There is a buzz going on in net world to write for money. In recent times many sites come up claiming to pay you for writing posts like PayPerPost, ReviewMe, sponsored Review, Smorty and lots of other whose name I don't remember now.

Why do we get money for writing?

In web world lots of new sites are coming and these sites do not choose the conventional method of web advertising but pay the bloggers' to write a review about their products or site. This medium of advertising is cheaper to conventional and has greater reach.

Now, I am going to tell you my experience with these so called "Paid to write" sites so far. First take PayPerPost. PayPerPost was the first site where I submitted my blog for "Getting paid for writing" and voila my blog got accepted in one go for the program. I earned $20 from PayPerPost for writing the post which everyone can write i.e. "Create a buzz for PayPerPost".

PayPerPost email

Then I wrote two more posts for PayPerPost but none of them got approved. Then I came to know that the review and judging system is not transparent here. They rejected the post saying links to other sites are not allowed in sponsored post (I am using Contera In-text advertisement on my site) and secondly you should add some more words to the previous post written in the blog which does not belong to PayPerPost program. When I got this e-mail I was totally confused as what they have to do with other posts written above or below the sponsored post (PayPerPost), for which they're not paying me, although the first objection was acceptable.
In the end I had to add some more words to that post to earn $10. According to my observation this site is full of opportunities for all. But for the UK/US based blogs/sites the amount paid is more than that of other parts of the world since most of the advertisers are from UK/US. If you interested in joining PayPerPost, visit .

Now come to ReviewMe site. In ReviewMe you have to wait for the opportunity(s) to come. Here I have got only one opportunity to write after that I am still waiting. Join ReviewMe here.

The third site is Sponsored Review: Oh, I love sponsored Review site these were my first words when I logged in to my account for the first time. Whenever you will login in to Sponsored Review site you will see lots of opportunity each time. Once you set your price for writing posts, you choose to write for the posts. The best part is that there is no number of posts you can bid for. You can choose as many you can and bid for them. But a catch is there. You have to wait till advertiser(s) accept your bid for their post(s). Once advertiser approves your bid you will be given seven days to complete the post and submit the post link to sponsored review site. After seven days money will be automatically transferred to your PayPal account. I have earned $42 from sponsored review program so far. Now I am waiting for advertisers to approve my next applied bids for the posts. Once again this site is very good for earning good money from writing posts if you're from U.S. or U.K. It's not that you won't get any opportunity if you're not from the above mentioned places but obviously the chances are less and preference will be given to them as most of the advertisers are from those regions. Join Sponsored Review here.

Now, at last come to Smorty. This site in first look looks very dull and boring site and you won't find hundreds of opportunity on your smorty account. But this is the site which going to make your richer day by day. Personally I like this site a lot and is getting paid regularly. Normally you will find 3 to 4 opportunities in your smorty account or sometime not a single opportunity as the opportunities quickly taken by the bloggers and these opportunities are limited in numbers. You will get around $6 to $20 for writing a post. But this is the site which gives equal opportunities to all the sites. Take my example, I run site from India and finding opportunities on regular basis unlike "PayPerPost" which gives less money and opportunities to Asian blogs/sites.

Smorty payment
According to Smorty all the suitable opportunities will be mailed to suitable bloggers to their email ID and it is up to you to log in to your Smorty account and take the opportunity unless someone takes the opportunity before you. In Smorty you can accept an opportunity at a time and you can't accept another opportunity unless you write post on first taken opportunity and submit it for review on Smorty. But what if you see 3 to 4 opportunities in your Smorty account and you want to grab all theses before they vanish. In that case you have to be really fast in writing reviews/opinions to take the other available opportunities. There is trick to earn more from Smorty. Many of the times there are 3-4 opportunities in your account, take the opportunity with the highest amount, write it and then take the other lower ones. This way you will be utilizing your same amount of time to write for the more money and losing on the cheaper opportunity. Also, you will mostly find opportunities mailed at the morning time (IST). Join Smorty here.

Is it good to write paid reviews?

Yes, I fully agree with the paid writing. This thing is very good for new bloggers who're trying to establish their self in this competitive blog world but require money for hosting and maintenance cost. Even famous bloggers write paid reviews and sell blog space for money, for text link advertisement. To write post is very safe as it increases content in your site/blog. Also, just for your information, that recently Google decreased the page rank of all the blogs/sites which hosted the paid links on their sites. This practice was more with developed blogs. Yet the blogs which didn’t have such links were safe. Hence paid post writing is much safer for blog image as well.

Before getting registered for any of these sites, you need to get registered on Paypal which is completely free of cost. This is necessary as all the above sites pay through PayPal. To get registered on PayPal click here.

Thank you for sharing this. I am looking for good review sites to participate in. Companies have been contacted me to write reviews of their products on my blog, but I would like to get paid. So far I am waiting for approval on some of these sites. How long does it take for your blog to be approved? Thanks for sharing!
